Put Dog the Bounty Hunter back on television!!

Duane Chapman, better known as Dog the Bounty Hunter has gotten his show suspended from A&E channel because he used the word, "niggar" in a private phone conversation with his son, Tucker. Tucker recorded the call and later sold the recording for money. Here's my take on the situation.

First of all, I think A&E should have left his show on the air until there has been a legal suit brought against the Dog.

Second, I also saw the mother of this girl talking about being upset that the Dog had called her daugher the "N word". She spoke about how upstanding the family was, how this girl has a sibling in the military fighting for our country, and how another sibling has done some other fine upstanding thing or other.... but not once did she comment on what kind of fine upstanding things this girl has done. I'm sorry, but just because you come from a fine upstanding family does not mean you are fine and upstanding yourself.

Third, Dr. Phil did a show about this racial slur. He stated that Dog the Bounty Hunter had declined to come on the show. Well, if you saw that show, you know that Dr. Phil had 6-7 black rights type people there ready to pounce on the Dog and dish to him a plate full of shame. I would have declined too!!

Fourth and finally, I don't think it is okay for black people to use the word and expect that it not okay for white people to say it. Since Dog the Bounty Hunter got pulled from A&E for using the "N word" in a PRIVATE phone call, and since other white people who have use the word have had to face some form of punishment, lets start punishing all of the black people for saying the "N word" too!!! I think it is only fair that they face public humiliation on national television the same way a white person would!

If this country wants to ban the "N word" from the language, then fine. Let's ban the word for everyone, not just white people! Until then, I myself will continue to have tons and tons of respect for Duane Chapman and his family and the great things he has done for the people of this country. I am impatiently waiting for A&E to pull their heads out of their butts and put him back on the television.
